Terms and Conditions 36 month/36,000 miles
This limited warranty is extended only to you, the original purchaser, and not to anyone who may purchase your vehicle from you during the term of the warranty. This limited warranty is made by this independent service facility Affinity Automotive Services Inc who is so named on the original repair invoice and performed the service/repairs on your vehicle.
This warranty covers the following types of repairs and services:
Air Conditioning, heating and climate control system, Engine cooling systems, Brake system, Starting and charging systems, Engine performance, drivability, services and repair, Electrical systems, Fuel systems, Ignition system, Electric engine management system and other on board computer systems, Steering /suspension systems, wheel bearing, CV joints, joints/u-joints, half shafts and drive shafts, suspension computers. Clutches, Differential repair or service (excludes transaxles) Cruise control system and other minor repairs.
Affinity Automotive Services Warranty with Terms and Conditions
Affinity Automotive Services warrants that repairs and services performed on this invoice, at their location will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 36 months or 36,000 miles of use, whichever comes first, measured from the date of the first repair and the odometer reading shown on the original repair invoice unless otherwise noted on the invoice. This warranty is conditioned on the vehicle being subjected to only normal, noncommercial use, and receiving reasonable and necessary maintenance during the warranty period. If there is no defect in either materials or workmanship within the warranty period; Affinity Automotive Services will perform remedial service work at no charge to the customer. Customer is responsible for delivering vehicle back to shop for a warranty repair. Tows are at customer expense. This warranty offers no cash value, no returns or refunds will be given, only repairs to correct the issue pertaining to the warranty. Nation Wide worry free warranty coverage is covered for 24 month/24,000 miles whichever comes first, measured from the date of the first repair and the odometer reading shown on the original repair invoice unless otherwise noted on the invoice.
Commercial Fleet Warranty
Affinity Automotive Services warrants that repairs and services performed on this invoice, at their location will be free of defects in material and workmanship for 15 months, or 15,000 miles
Of use, whichever comes first, measured from the date of the first repair and the odometer reading shown on the original repair invoice. This warranty is conditioned on the vehicle being subjected to normal use, if neglect, misuse or other factors such as vehicle was serviced at another shop or system was tampered with or any form of disassembly. Warranty is null and void. Tows are at customer expense. This warranty offers no cash value, no returns or refunds will be given, only repairs to correct the issue pertaining to the warranty.
What is not covered by this Warranty
You must pay for any non-warranty service you order to be performed at the same time as the warranty service. This would include customer supplied parts and/or Salvaged purchased parts. This warranty will not apply to your repaired vehicle if it has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alternation, or “tampering with” (by persons other then Affinity Automotive Services or facility employees). The Affinity Automotive Services employees do not have the authority to modify the terms of this warranty nor to make any promises in addition to those contained in this warranty. This warranty does not in any way include incidental or consequential damages.
Affinity Automotive Services specifically excludes any repairs involving replacement or removal of internally lubricated parts and other such repairs as listed below:
A. Engine – any internal repairs or replacement of internal components or replacement of engine assembly. (Gaskets, seals or plugs) Unless otherwise specified on front of invoice.
B. Transmission, Transaxles – Automatic- any internal repairs or components replacement requiring the removal of the automatic transmission or transaxle from the vehicle or disassembly of the same. Manual- any internal repairs or components replacement requiring the removal of transmission or transaxle from the vehicle or disassembly of the some clutches – clutch component or assembly repair or replacement. Unless otherwise specified on front of invoice.
C. Drive axle/differential assembly – any repair or component replacement requiring the removal of internally lubricated components or replacement of the drive axle/differential assembly, ring gear, pinion shaft and related gears, associated bearing the above and pinion seal. Unless otherwise specified on front of invoice.
E. Auto body, paint molding repair- any repair or materials related to auto body repair work or glass related repairs
G. Bulbs: headlight, tail light, tag light, turn signal ect.
H. Batteries: Unless otherwise specified on front of invoice.
I. Glass repairs
What you must do to obtain Warranty Service
You must keep a copy of the original repair invoice and present it when seeking service under this warranty. If warranty work is performed, you must temporarily surrender possession of the original repair invoice, or a legible copy of the same.
If you are less than 25 miles away from the original repair Facility, you must return your vehicle to that Facility for any warranty repairs.
If you are more than 25 miles from the original Facility, then you must call the Warranty Administrator prior to any warranty repair work being performed, at 800-217-8946, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (Eastern Time), excluding holidays. The Administrator will provide to you the nearest participating Facility. If there are no participating locations in your area, you may take your vehicle to a non-participating Repair Facility in your area. If the non- participating Repair Facility will not accept payment from the Warranty Administrator, you must pay for the warranty service and submit your original repair invoice (or legible copy) and subsequent warranty repair invoice (or legible copy) to the Administrator for review, within 90 days of the date of repair. If your vehicle is inoperable, and you are further than 25 miles from the original facility, you may be eligible for certain towing benefits, to a maximum of $100.00 You may also be eligible for Rental Car benefits if your vehicle cannot be repaired the same day due to circumstances beyond your control. The maximum benefit would be for 2 days at a maximum of $50.00 per day, as determined by the Warranty Administrator.
No storage charge shall accrue or be due if payable for a period of 3 working days from the date you are notified that the work on your vehicle has been completed. Affinity Automotive Services Inc. is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle or its contents while parked on or about the premises. After 7 days of vehicle sitting on premises a daily charge for storage of your vehicle will be $30.00/day. Express mechanic’s lien is hereby acknowledged on above vehicle to secure the amount of repairs thereto. Legal action will be sought out to obtain vehicle title and the right to sell the vehicle. Abandoned vehicles could be towed away at customer’s expense off the premises after no contact for 30 days.
Finance Charges apply to all unpaid balances at a rate of 10% APR after a grace period of 7 days charges will calculate from due date or date of delivery. Once the written/verbal agreement is not kept, fees will date back to the original date of services, and legal action will begin.
3 month/3,000 mile warranty vehicles will be set to manufacture specific specifications. No warranty will be offered on alignments for modified vehicles such as lifted or lowered vehicles or any other vehicle altered from stock form. If steering or suspension parts installed after the alignment, damage occurred by MVA, parts failure, customer denial of repairs needed to complete alignment to manufacture specifications voids the warranty. Alignment specifications via detailed computer analysis and computer-generated measurements that restore your vehicle’s alignment to as close to the original factory requirements as mechanically possible Note: If your vehicle requires replacing of suspension parts, it is best to have these repairs completed prior to your alignment Note – Wedge Adjustments or Shim Kits are available at an additional charge for vehicles that are not factory adjustable, or maybe needed to complete some worn parts that have damaged factory locations.
Additional Terms and Conditions
Customer claims will be handled promptly by the Affinity Automotive Services team and any charges that may result; due to non-warranty related required services should be agreed upon prior to any work being performed. Customer is required to deliver the vehicle to Affinity Automotive Services team at the customer expense. Warranty repair or corrective service must be performed by Affinity Automotive Services. Affinity Automotive Services Inc is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle or its contents while on the premises. Affinity Automotive Services is not responsible for unrelated, incidental or pre-existing conditions, defects, or faults in the vehicle not caused by Affinity Automotive Services or the Affinity Automotive Services team. You will be notified upon completion of any diagnostic work necessary to estimate the cost of repair or if the actual charges will exceed the written estimate, including any additional authorized charges. When you are notified you may orally or in writing authorize, modify or cancel the order for repair. You hereby authorize the above repair work to be done along with the necessary material and hereby grant you and/or your employees’ permission to operate the vehicle described for testing and/or inspection. Express mechanic’s lien is hereby acknowledged on above vehicle to secure the amount of repairs thereto. In the event the customer cancels the repair work, the vehicle shall be reassembled to a condition reasonably similar as when received unless the customer waives reassemble or the reassembled vehicle would be unsafe. You may be charged for the cost of tear down and the cost to reassemble the vehicle.
